Yombe people : ウィキペディア英語版 | Yombe people
At least two groups of people in Africa are described as the Yombe people. The Ba Yombe refers to people among the tumbuka of Zambia who speak a dialect called chi Yombe. Chief Muyombe is their leader and they have Vinkhakanimba for their annual traditional ceremony. The area they live in is geographically counted as part of the Northern Province of Zambia though linguistically they are closer to the Eastern Province languages. They live on the plateau. Another group, also referred to as the Mayombe people, live in the south-western part of the Republic of the Congo, with others living in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Angola. ==References==
